The Living Art Show - Body Painting Extravaganza
The UK's top body painters gather for a unique Kent based body paint show at local free festival.
The Living Art Show takes place at The Cray Festival a “Community Festival” of Music Arts Culture and Heritage on Sat July 5th at St Mary Cray Recreation Ground, London Borough of Bromley, BR54BS Opens 12 noon till 3.30pm catwalk show time festival event closes 8pm
The Living Art Show is a body painting festival to showcase the talents of the U.K.s top body painters, there will be creatures and characters created with paint and prosthetic pieces from three themes including Sci-Fi, Earth and the Elements and Steam Punk . The models once painted perform in a judged catwalk show through an array of amazing props including a Tardis, a Star Gate the Narnia wardrobe...we invite you to come and experience this unique spectacle.
The Cray Festival is free of charge to the public as is entry into the Living Art Show; on display will be body painters in action creating amazing works of art. There are free taster workshops where public can try out face painting and casualty and special effects (just like in the movies!) as well as other activities. Also displayed is gallery artwork by local artistes, including pictures paintings and sculptures.
Local award winning artiste Liz Bylett was inspired to gather together this group of body painters from across the UK. She says “The team are really excited about the show and we hope the public will love seeing what we can create ” In her varied career she has body painted Katie Price, face painted Gary Linker and given Sir Richard Branson a black eye!
