According to Sharon Baldwin, Executive Director of Orpington 1st, Priory Gardens was bustling with even more people than 2015, despite a day of variable weather. The showers did not deter the crowds. They took shelter in the gazebos and marquees when the rain came and enjoyed sitting on the grass when it didn't! As well as the stallholders, many attendees joined in the spirit of this vintage festival, wearing costumes and hairstyles from the various decades from 1940s onwards. Once again the crowds were very well behaved and an entertaining day was enjoyed by all. Roll on the 2017 Festival.
